Toddler Tuesday: Developing Fine Motor Skills

Its hard to believe that gone are the days that I am working hard to help Jack learn how to walk and crawl. This little baby is growing up quick into a big kid! We work on little tasks every day to build up Jack's fine motor skills.  Between games on the iPad, lift the flap books, colouring, painting and playing with smaller toys Jack is getting a really good handle on things.  Every child is different and learns best when they do what works for them.  When it comes to Jack, he enjoys it most when things are a game and when he has someone doing it with him.  I had to take a video of our lunchtime antics because words wouldn't do it justice!

One of our big daily projects is perfecting his command of utensils so he doesn't have to always resort of finger feeding.  Today was a hilarious success! Please forgive my high pitched "OUCH" - the things you do to get a giggle. Ah, life with a toddler. SO much awesome.
