One really fun thing I found was a mug making kit! It came with a coffee mug and ceramic paints so you could have your little one paint up the mug then you bake it. I know it was out on display for Fathers Day but my last fav mug broke unexpectedly just by falling over on the counter. I have ordered two mugs from Shutterfly and that has happened to both of them. I won't be ordering one again anytime soon.
Of course I've been bombarded with baked sharpie/ceramic crafts on Pinterest so I did a little pre-paint decorations for fun :) found some awesome quotes online to make the most perfect Momma Mug. "Always be kinder than you feel" and "This business of training little humans for life is a mind boggling process". No truer words have been spoken and I think a daily reminder at morning coffee time is perfect.
I realized the paint isn't intended for teeny toddler mouths so I supervised him (aka held the brush with him to insure it didn't go into his mouth or eyes) while he dipped and blobbed. This was met with less than enthusiastic approval (seen in this photo) but he still seemed to enjoy himself after all.
