Last year, I did a blog from Jack's perspective detailing the highlights of his day. We used a cute mini magna doodle to write little captions for each picture and it was a really fun day! When I was unpacking some of our things I found the little magna doodle and thought it would be fun to do it again.
Doing it this year was much harder - Jack moves A LOT. And we do a lot of things in the course of the day that don't lend well to carrying around a magna doodle. I found last time that when I was taking the pictures during our day I was worried that it wouldn't be enough stuff for a blog. (which wasn't the case) Today it seemed like we were doing so much I missed a bunch of things because I just couldn't stop to write a message on the magnadoodle before it was over.
I often read back on my old blogs about how things were this time last year to give me perspective on Jack, motherhood, life etc. It is a wonderful thing to have your life chronicled in blog form :). I hope that I can keep up the blogging so we will have a great family keepsake.
Without further adieu, I give you Jack's blog!
"Daddy gets up with me every morning!" - but Jack got to the erase function before he could get the pic!
Jacks morning routine of drying his hair with Grammie!
And doing some yoga moves with Grammie.
Jack always waves goodbye to Grammie and Papa each morning as they drive away!
(Momma Squirrel - we watched her move her babies from one location to another one afternoon and since then we put out food for her on the deck. She comes several times a day!)
"Seven Wonders of the Industrial World" is an awesome BBC mockumentary series available on Netflix. Definitely check it out!
Wore my new Birk's from Maxwells - LOVE THEM :)
Then it all fell apart because we got ready for bath, bathed and went to bed - all without any pictures! But it was a typical night and I'm sure you can imagine how it goes down.
