Here's wishing you all a day filled with love. It's been a great day despite the box ridden lifestyle. We did a lot of playing, resting and organizing. Feels like a calm before a big storm, although after working diligently these last few weeks I think Scotty and I have prepared the house pretty well.
Jack even received an adorable Valentine from his future girlfriend in the Valley :) how cute is this?!?
We celebrated by ordering East Side Mario's, drinking red wine from plastic cups and dying laughing at Jacks hilarious dinner time entertainment. In a string of his new fav words he demanded bananas and cheese. If he always got what food he wanted this kid would never poop again haha. He also played a game with Lucy running around our box towers with pancake in his fat little fist while Lucy pursued. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times - babies need dogs. They are such good things for each other :). I'm completely pro-dog/baby cohabitation. They have so much fun while still keeping their own boundaries and teach each other a lot about respecting personal space.
It's been a weird week for Jack - slowly ditching his morning nap. So we've been keeping busy in the mornings so he isn't too cranky or tempted to fall asleep accidentally. The girls at work welcomed us to come play - it was lovely!
Jack got to experience a whole morning of playing with 4 other babies - it rocked. They have THE most awesome wagon (although it needs some chains on the tires to get through the snow) and Jack soaked in some fresh air with the other babes. Jack doesn't get a lot of interactions with other babies which is a huge regret of mine because he adores kids. Once we are settled again I'll be on the hunt for play friends.
Then back to the center for playing and more playing. It's been decided this kid needs a slide ASAP. (Once we get to the Valley I'll be hunting Kijiji for one!) He had a blast once he figured out how to climb up with some help from Sarah!
Yup he has a slide addiction!
I could see the excitement in his little movements although unfamiliar in this new environment our little crazy boy was surprisingly reserved! He went about playing and spent his time soaking in all the new toys, sounds and kids.
Getting out with other kids certainly filled our morning! It was really fun and a nice change of scenery for two people going a little shack-wacky. (Thanks ladies :)!! We will miss you tons!)
Tomorrow our movers arrive to put 95% of our things in storage. Unlike last time we moved, Scott will be alone for the morning with the movers. Thankfully Jack, Lucy and I will be escaping to Gail and Merts house for the morning! (Thanks so much for letting us hide away!) Wish us luck!
We are huge grumpy cat lovers - had to share this :).
Thanks for stopping by and enjoying another post about our daycare-loving, Pro-Valentines Day Happily Hectic Household!
