I can't even express how much I will miss my coworkers and work kids both preschool and Afterschoolers. They are such a wonderful group of children. I had a hard time saying goodbye to them but they (and my awesome co-workers) made an awesome day for me!! I'm really excited to begin this new stage in my life of stay at home Momma so this day felt bittersweet.
Since I was home yesterday from work with Jack they spent the whole afternoon making me cards, decorating posters, blowing up balloons and planning my surprise party. :) (Thanks Angie and Bobbi! You're the sweetest for putting these kids to work making the most fab decorations!)
Jenny gave me a lovely mini rose bush to plant in our new home so I will always think of Sunny Days when I see the beautiful blossoms :) I cannot wait to have a garden to plant this in.
I had been dreading my last day of work because it meant so many painful goodbyes. I have spent so much of my life there since we've lived in Fredericton and I will miss lots of things about it - mostly all the wonderful people - coworkers, kids and parents from the centre! I'm really looking forward to staying home with Jack and moving back to Nova Scotia and I so appreciate all of the support I've received from everyone.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoying another post about (our now single income) Happily Hectic Household!
