Jacks First work of Art!

As someone who works in daycare all of those scribbles and coloring pages are extra special as they are dear to my heart. While your child may bring home a scribbly mess that kind of resembles a dog wearing a backpack, they actually spent the day learning about service dogs. These little pieces of work are so important even if they aren't something we can make sense of.

So when Amy presented me with Jacks first piece of art I was so excited. Still am :) yup it's plastered on our fridge, now the blog and soon to be printed onto a mug for momma's morning coffee (Yup I'm one of those parents).

It's just excited that he is beginning to express himself in lots of different ways. Regardless of what it looks like, it is so neat to know he is learning so many skills manipulating those crayons and markers. And of course having fun :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoying another post about our soon-to-be art filled Happily Hectic Household!

  1. yeah! how fun. Good thing he got a marker and paper set for his birthday.... he will have a blast... IF he learns to not put the marker in his mouth!

  2. Hope the markers are eraseable - those walls look like big easels!
